The Royal Parks: succession and survival
Guild member Richard Flenley was asked by the Friends of the Landscape Archive at Reading (FOLAR) to give a virtual talk on The Royal Parks called Succession and Survival; The Royal Parks in 100 years of change. He looks back at the many incremental changes that have taken place in the Royal Parks throughout the 20th century, both losses and gains.
FOLAR is a lively friends group dedicated to raising the profile and use of the Landscape Institute archive and library housed at the Museum of English Rural Life at the University of Reading. For more information about them click HERE.
