The Royal Parks Guild's committee is made up of committed people with a wide range of experience and qualifications necessary to manage the Guild. They include:
Mike was formerly Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Parks for The Royal Parks, who on his retirement set up The Royal Parks Guild. He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners.
Ruth works for The London Legacy Development Corporation in a sponsorship role for the Public Realm at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford.
Jennifer was formerly Director of Open Spaces for the City of London. She has a long association with the Institute of Horticulture, The Royal Horticultural Society and London Parks & The London Green Spaces Forum.
Barbara has spent many years working in the City as the PA for several Chairmen and Directors in various City companies. In retirement she is now Secretary of The Royal Parks Guild.
David Ivison, formerly a Chartered Environmentalist working in consultant and service industries as an arboriculturist and landscape manager.
Roger formerly held the post of Assessor for The Royal Parks’ Apprenticeship scheme dealing with the inner Royal parks as Horticultural Assessor and Co-ordinator for Capel Manor College, Enfield.
Matthew trained as a Landscape Architect and worked in The Royal Parks as both Client and Contractor in Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and The Brompton Cemetery. He is now working for OCS as Contract Manager looking after Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and St James's Park.
Sid established the first parks, environmental and management consultancy and now consults widely within the U.K. and overseas. He is a World Commissioner for the International Federation of Parks and Recreation Administration, (IFPRA).
Geraldine is the Garden Estate Manager for Chiswick House and Gardens and has worked for the Trust overseeing the property since 2014. Prior to this she managed parks for the City of London and The Royal Parks. She is also a Royal Horticultural Society Britain in Bloom Judge.
