In an interview for the Daily Telegraph on Monday 28 December 2015, Jools Holland compares the BBC to “museums, royal parks and public swimming baths.” I think that’s a compliment.
Members of The Royal Parks Guild offer their time and expertise to The Royal Parks, associated organisations and apprentices.
If so, you could become a member of The Royal Parks Guild. Membership costs just £10 per year and will help you stay in touch with the parks and former colleagues as well as giving you the opportunity to contribute to the future of the parks through volunteering, joining our programme of activities and assisting with guild projects and awards.
Applicants have the voluntary option to donate to The Royal Parks Guild bursary fund. This is a separate account specifically being built up by the guild to provide bursaries in the future to Royal Parks’ apprentices.
To help fund the running of the guild applicants can also have the voluntary option to make a general donation.
Full guidance on eligibility and membership categories is given on this link.
Please complete this application form and we will be in touch shortly.
To comply with the Data Protection Act, the Guild is required to notify members that the information they supply in connection with their membership is held on the Guild’s database for the purposes of membership administration and will only be used for the activities of The Royal Parks Guild.
